i was there this weekend and pointed at the car thinking, i think this thing is gonna hook. OMG did it! also it is a BMR suspension lol. just amazing. suspension a bit too tight i thihnk

BTW, that is a testiment to torque arm suspension!

That's unreal, and bitchin at the same time!

glad they got racing in, considering it rained here in gainesville until sunday morning, I figured it'd get screwed over by the weather bands moving south..

315/60 MT drag radials are the (radial) tire of choice...

Its a sweet car, no doubt. Isn't the T/A too long to be a BMR Extreme, the BMR seems to be shorter than that one.

More details taken from HOTRODGOSSIP.COM:

"This is the first stock suspension, 7second,
Nitrous car on drag radials. It ran 7.87 at 181 this weekend in
Bradenton at the US Street Nationals. The car is a 90 Camaro owned and
driven by Smooky Hall of Hollywood, FL. The car was built by Precision
Racing Development in Miami, FL. It has a 565ci motor, profiler heads,
and a 2-stage nitrous system by Applied Nitrous Technology."
