camlock harness selection help/how about this? hey guys.........
i was wondering if you could give me your best opinion on the safest, quickest and most dependable working, if your life depended on it you would pick this for your car, choice. i'm not concerned with the cost when it comes to safety, so pay no attention to it. just, your choice of the best setup. here's a link to one in particular i've been thinking about from Summit.

I have a pair of G-Force brand cam-lock harnesses that I got from Jegs. Quality seems excellent for the price and the cam lock is SO much nicer than the old buckle style harnesses I had in the last car.

ok. i was looking into a wrap around rollbar mount, the one i linked to. i think that will likely be the one i get then. thanks for your help guys.

ok man........... sorry about that. it didn't work for me either, so i checked it again and realized i needed to add a bk at the end of the pn. i fixed it up top too.

yeah, i finally figured it out as well, i think those would work well. the RJS ones i had i just welded a tab onto the cross bar in the cage and bolted the shoulder harnesses to that and it worked out pretty well.

just not sure how they work with the rollbar as i don't see any sort of tabs. is it a true wrap around? if it is, than i would suppose you just loop it over and pull the shoulder belts through the opening in my Kirkey seats? what's your thoughts?

my cage came with a piece of flat metal in the shape of a "U" about 1" on the sides and 4" wide...you wrap it inside that and it just sits there. that's what kept it from sliding all over the place. i have a kirkey seat that i'm looking for a power seat bottom to mount it to so i can use it when racing. but i'm setting my new IMPACTs up just like you're talking about.
