I am stumped
I used to trap at 125mph w/ old 4L60E, 3500 stall, and 3.73s on 26" tall tire
I now have a 28" tall tire, 4.11s, Turbo 350, and 4500 stall.
I banged out my rev limiter last night heading through the traps. I think that I should have about 132mph before that should happen. Any comments?
btw: the car is reflashed to think she has an M6 and rev limiter adjusted up to 7000.
she ran great at first: 1.6 60' and did the 1/8th mile at 7.1 @ 99.49mph. The end result was the rev limiter at the end not being able to accelerate all the way through the traps
coker
when i was TH400, i had 4.10 gear, 28" tire..cleared the traps in the 1/4 with plenty of room. i think i had a 4000 or 4500 stall.
I have a Hughes 4500 stall converter and am not sure if it is locking up or not. I assume she does after 4500, but am not sure.
with the TH350, off of the line I am staged about 4000rpm and launch. I am already in 3rd gear. The rpms slam up to around 6500 and just stay there the whole way it appears.
When I ordered my stall through alamo performance, they did not ask lock-up or non lock up
any way to tell?

remember a converter does not lock itself up..a selenoid in the trans does..
let me get this straight..you are launching the car in 3rd gear?
my trap was 122 (after coasting a short while after banging the rev limiter)
