Default How much HP to make up for 100 lbs?

As stated, how much HP would it take to make up for 100 lbs extra weight? Like going from a alum block to a iron.

10-15 hp is about the norm. I would just use an ls2 block if i were you though, rapid has em available to work with the knock sensors.

You don't say where you're headed with this car, but I definitely recommend staying with an aluminum block.

I agree with the 10-15, but weight placement is also a concern. Unsprung vs sprung and if you add over the nose, keep in mind what that can do for weight transfer and suspension set-up.
