I personally don't like that attitude from anyone in here, and I think I have expressed this to you before. Mind you I'm not being a jagoff here or even reprimanding in any way, just stating a thing or two in response to your seemingly overall critical/one sided view of doing things.
now on subject..I think the brackets shown here are creative and realistically are ok to use..me personally, i'm on the fence if I'd use them seeing as i have a 6 speed and this thing gets really violent out of the hole dumping the clutch at 7,000+ rpm.

See what happens if u leave your laptop on the floor of a car when it 60fts 1.50 or better.U and I both know something like a seat bracket is alittle more important than your laptop flying back to the rear seat,so thats why I said for people to be careful with some thing like a seat bracket..
My car 60fts 1.40's at over 3350lbs..It leaves hard,I'd wanna seat bracket that I KNOW is gonna keep me in the seat. Its your car and u guys do what ever u feel is right....I'm done....

Back on topic...
I like the ingenuity. If you had two full length pieces of angle, back to back, to create the "Z" shape, it would be just like what one of the major manufactures sells for a seat mount kit. I don't disagree with JS that seats are in important safety factor. The only thing to make sure is that the "L" brackets you're using are a thick gauge so they don't want to collapse under stress.
BTW, I'm an old school fan of the plastic seats I made my bracket by using a 1/4" sheet of aluminum and mounting the seat directly to it and the sheet to stock floor bolts.

obviously this tread turned to a pissing match.
but on the subject at hand, they are creative useful and well within the budget.
look plenty safe. in fact........obviously there is angle iron, what angle brackets are you using, where would i find them (what would i have to ask for)
