Mt arm has more adjustability than anyone elses. The theory is there to make the arem shorter or longer just by moving the instant center.
On a drag radial car you want toplant the tire quick and ride it out this is where the up hill mount of the BMR works. The different mounting points of my arm gives you this option for a radial OR a slick.

RAMAIRSTYLE in 4 years nobody has broken one of my arms from 4200lbs convertibles and lighter.

don't tell me this! i've been trying to talk myself out of buying a new torque arm when i just got the spohn! time to start saving up

should i be looking at an anti-roll bar? if so, which one? kind of lost on the suspension. have Eibach drag launch springs, Strange single adjustables in back, KYB AGX's up front, solid LCA's, Spohn T/A, Stock PHB and rear swaybar. on 28x11.5x15 et streets with an 8 inch rim (for now)

Nothing wrong with a Spohn tq arm. they do work well, it's what I put on my car. Not that I have run any impressive #'s with my car, but hopefully that will change.

I've been looking for a T/A recently, and am torn between Wolfe and Madman. I keep hearing GREAT things about Madmans T/A, but am really turned off by it's secrecy (I've never seen one of the "new" ones, and every time I've asked, I've been treated like I'm asking for pics of secret gov't documents), so I'm leaning towards the Wolfe, and using them in conjunction with their through the floor SFCs....

3 Sets of headers

1 Oil pan
2 Tranny pans
2 rubber crossmember mounts
1 Set of electric fans (ripped off the radiator when car came down)
4 inner fenders
Massive loss of paint on the rear bumper....... and a couple pair of underwear

There's a video of this thing standing it on the bumper somewhere around here...pretty crazy stuff. The madman arm has worked well for me as well.

Default torque arm lenght

I think that some people are getting confused about how a rear puts leverage on the arm.The longer the arm the easier it is for the arm to hold the torque of the rear assuming it doesnt flex. The shorter the arm the more stress it puts on the point of mounting.Think of it like this,a longer wrench would make it easier to break a bolt loose right!!!on the other hand if you just wanted to hold the bolt still a longer wrench would make holding it easier than a short one, right?I think so.I dont know who makes the best T/A or which is better long/short I just wanted to clarify what some people were talking about.I've seen people with both cutting 1.3 60'. I just happened to run into a adj. short one w/ driveshaft loop for a good price.I probably should of bought another one but that was 4 years ago when a 12 second pass would make me happy.

It would be interesting to see how people have their suspension set up to pull the wheels as high as they do to drag the rear bumper. It seems that lifting the front wheels is so commonplace.

I wonder how different people's suspension set ups are from mine. My car will pull the front wheel about 12" on a 1.71 60' when it bogs, but on a low 1.4x 60' with no bog the front tires stay planted??????

Perhaps people could chime in with descriptions of their suspension set ups, their 60' times, horsepower levels, tire types/sizes, and whether or not they are lifting the front end up.
