Default Heating Up Tires Question..

I just put in a TCI 3000 converter. When I put mny BFG's on and try to heat up the tires the rear end starts sliding to the left. Any tricks or tips to help hold the car straight while I heat them up?

Sam nailed it. If your tires are too dry when you start the burn out , the car will try to hook as soon as the tires begin to spin.

Roll the tires a revolution or two in the water box and roll forward just out of the water or wet area. (If you roll too far out you will dry the tires off and it will try to hook)

Flash the converter in drive with slight brake pressure and keep the rpms up to 5800-6000 rpm. The tires should get smoke and stay straight during this time. Every track is different so it's a trial an error thing. A line lock would be nice , but it's not going to prevent this problem if your tires are dry. I hope this helps.
