$2000 Match Race I've been challenged to a best 2 out of 3 match for a grand:
My car:
'99 LS1 SS Coupe
11:1 347, AFR 205s, n/a, w/F14
QTP headers
Rossler A4
Strange 12 bolt, w/3.73
All of BMR stuff
MT DR
His car:
'98 Z28
stock longblock w/blower cam 234/236, 601/608/114
Procharger D1
Moser w/spool, 4.10
M6
MT DR
no suspension mods
Whatta ya think?

I believe Allan Futral ordered a 3800 stall, but I can reflash it to whatever I need.
He won't bet or race me unless I take the NOS bottle out of the car. We agree I would crush him on the juice.

you got it all day long. If you are going to run him on motor I would recommend borrowing a 4000+ stall though. That will really get you out there in front of him and he will not touch you down track.

i think you don't have a '99 LS1 SS Sedan LOL...
2 doors are coupes my friend, unless i'm missing something.if you run him as is now, no bottle, you're probably golden and a G richer. however, if he get's the suspension work done, he can't say a damn thing about the bottle! may the faster car/better driver win! no crybabies allowed!

He will not race me on the sauce no matter what. He thinks n/a vesus blower is a fair race.
all i know is my rule of thumb is never race for money until your car is 100 percent dialed in. to me that means at least 3 passes back to back that are within a couple hundreths of eachother and no more than 1 mph variance, with. sixty foot in 1-2 hundreths similarity range as well. only saying this cuz it sounds like your car is still in the works.

I know him and his car very well. His best time is 11.30 and he just made it a $2000 bet.

#1, how do you know he doesn't do $1k worth of suspension mods before this race banking on him winning?
#2, Get some slicks or NEW DR's, and a 4000 stall TC. If you can take him off the line I think you'll have it.
