How much stress does a tranny crossmember see?

How much stress does a tranny crossmember see? I'm thinkin about building a tranny crossmember out of aluminum for my TH350 (instead of welding a plate on my M6 crossmember). But what i need to know is how much stress does this part handle? i don't think much cause i have solid motor mounts and the trq arm is one of the shorty ones so its no mounted on there.
