What would be the best solution for cable routing for an lt1? They seem to differ slightly from the ls1. I just installed my switch today and will be putting the rest in later this week and would like a quality setup.

I'm using 2ga with no problems what so ever. According to American Wire Gauge standards, at least the source I was using, 2 gauge should be able to hold up to 225 amps. The stock Alternator output is I believe 140 Amps. A good idea would be to put a fuse between the alternator and the battery as an extra form of protection.

When I told a buddy I was using 2 ga. he had a baffled look on his face because I didn't go with 1/O. I told him, "if my car burns down you'll be the first to know". Well its been 6 months and I drive 110mi Mon-Fri. to and from work.

There is a resistance to be considered but if you look at the manner in which it is rated your talking about resistance per 1000ft. I think the longest piece was 15-20ft. The one thing that I did do though was completely replace the stock wiring harness, used washers to provide more contact surface area, and cleaned off any painted surfaces to expose the chassis vs just using a bolt as the ground.

I have a bunch of pics from my install, pm your email and I'll send them to ya.
