Default can you keep a/c but leave heat out?

its summer and all the fun it being had but its to hot during the day (best time to drive the car)

is there a way we can put the A/C in but keep the heater out? i was thinking about removing the finned thing in the heater box and putting a small fan on it to circulate the coolness around. any ideas on how to go about doing this? anyone done it before?

sorry if my spelling and grammer is off... its been a long week

if your doing it for weight savings its not worth all the trouble. 90% of the HVAC weight is the A/C and ducting. you might lose 4 lbs if you remove the heater core and the hoses going to it.
besides its not that hot.. i live in texas and took my A/C out.

no ducting.... on fan that will blow the air under the dash... slowly cooling the car. all of it is out right now. heck, i'm even thinking about putting the power steering back in
