Start the Nittos at about 15-18psi. My best 60's have come at between 12-14psi. They like a good amount of heat too. I used to spin mine at 80-90mph for a good 5-8 seconds. Just take it easy for your first couple of passes and feel the car out. Make sure you drive around the water box if your not running skinnies, you can back into it and give the nittos a quick spin in the edge of the water before your burnout if you feel it makes your burnout easier. I always watered mine. Do a walk around of the car make sure everything looks ok, double check your battery hold down (the stock ones break all the time), check out your fluids, I like to check my pinion seal everynow and then too, and make sure you have your licence and a pen. Have fun.

Thanks alot. how long do your tires last with a burn out like that. My cars a m6 so a burnout aint that easy. How long should I wait in between rounds or does the heat bother these cars to much

I got atleast 50 passes out of them burning them like that. If I knew that the track was real sticky I wouldn't do as big of a burnout. You should be alright hot lapping most of the night. The car should have time to cool down alittle in the staging lanes between runs. If you plan on going to the track a lot, pick yourself up a line lock. It will make your burnout so much easier.

Unless your running the Lingenfelter aluminium intake you probrably wouldn't see much for gains from icing the intake. You could give it a try though for the heck of it though.

I'm just making a comment but I have a m6 and can spin the hell out of the tires (16" nittos 18 psi) on the track with no problem and do not go through the water. Rev it up!

Yeah I can spin the tires to I was just saying it aint as easy to do a burnout as an a4. Also at my track you have to go through the water to clean your tires off.

No kidding, on my car (M6), anything below 18psi and I get massive wheelhop. Don;t know if its the difference in tranny or maybe you have better suspension .
