Default finally making some progress on the car, pic inside

well, for those of yall that were in atlanta im sure you remember the fugly black pinon hood, well i just drove the car to town topless and picked it up at the body shop i do buisness with. the did a great job, painted and cleared top and bottom side and matched it suprisingly well to the color that was there.
it even got me a race on the way home with a new gto

ive also got-er-down to probably 2950lbs right now with me in it in race trim

2950 wow, car looks good - figured you would have them fill the holes for the rear spoiler and get rid of that

How much does that T/A spoiler weigh btw?

i could always did what Joe O. did to his and just remove the heavy bottom half and use the top have and support the edges. i figure if i get that desperate for weight ill get a pin on formula hatch with speedglass, that saves like 100 lbs

I really hate the T/A wing to be honest, cant see anything out the back window Wonder if a formula hatch is lighter. I'm not ready for a pin on hatch yet

a forumla hatch is much lighter, i opened the hatch on a formy one time and it flew up way faster than my TA hatch does with the same shocks, kind like my TA hatch did without the spoiler on it. it should be 20+lbs lighter than the TA hatch

p.s sorry bout the edit thinggy in your post, i accidentally hit edit instead of reply, im not used to that edit thing being there yet

Maybe I should try to find a local kid with a black V6 firebird that wants an awesome t/a wing

I do the edit thing a lot by mistake, I'm old and have CSS syndrome

looking good man, and a race back to boot? Wow, was there a naked chick at your front door offering to "service" you when you got home too? (in case the "it was a great day" thing got thought up)
