Default QA1's ride height

What is a good starting point for the ride hieght? I have 15" prostars with 26" ET Fronts. Measuring from the ground to the Top of the fender well. Or however any of you may have measured. The car has some rake to it now with stock front shocks. Not sure how much rake it actually has. I am in the process of installing K-member, A-arms, and QA1's.

Thanks.

All i got was a spanner wrench, two shocks and 275# springs. I ordered all of it at one time and that is what they sent me. What does the bearing kit do? do the jam nuts have bearings?

the bearing goes between the cup and nut you will be spinning. Thes spring puts lots of pressure on the cup and makes that damn nut harder to turn the higher you get. Now if you can conpress the spring somehow and get it close to the right height, that would be da bomb. otherwise...lube the nut/cup good with oil or something and start cranking that spanner wrench. The bearing kit makes it 10x easier though...and i am not exagerating

There was no bearing in there so it looks like i will be cranking on it for a while. There was a thin peace of metal that goes between the cup and the nut that was in the box. Thanks for the advice though.

Get the torrington bearings, they are really worth the investment! Mine are set the same, almost 2" from the top. You can jack the car up and take some of the compression out of the spring, that helps make it easier too.
