Default Based on my graph, where to shift at?

I think I screwed up when I had my rev limiter set at 6500 rpm. My dyno graph shows power climbing all the way to 6500 where it peaks or maybe just past that at 6600. Not real sure b/c my damn graph ends at 6500!. Anyways, what should I have my rev limiter set at to minimize my ETs? My shift light is set at 6400 and I figure by the time I actually shift I'm at 6500. How much time/mph do you guys think I'm losing by not shifting higher?

Rev limiter set at 400 above peak power.... shift light set at 200 below peak power here. By the time I shift into the next gear, I'm still in the meat of the power band.

There are other schools of thought on where to shift. Your results may vary.

my power peaks at 6500. i shift at 6900 and limitor at 7K (auto car). i would shift it minimum of 6700 with your setup and keep the risk of breaking the motor low.

I agree with the above post and would add that I like to experiment with shift points after I have the car sorted out initially. I usually like to save a litte et for "just in case".

thanks guys,
I think I'll reset it to 6800 and then try shifting around 6700 and see how that works out. I definitely don't want to risk damaging the motor although I do have $$ in case that happens but I was hoping that money would go to a 12-bolt whenever the stocker blows up. How much mph/et do you think I should gain in the 1/8th w/ the higher shifting?
