i have found this out too. with my 4.10 gear in the moser and the convertor flashing to 5100 on teh bottle it just spins. dont know if i want to go back to the old et drag or change my gearing and convertor to accomodate this tire.

We are planning on pulling the rear apart to put in a spool to replace the posi. Would be a perfect time to throw in a set of 3.73's while we're in there. I am actually running on a 15X8 convo pro at the moment. I believe that is the minimum required rim width for the 275/60 drag radial. Would it be more beneficial going with a 10"?

Madman, what do you think the maximum stall should be on the converter? The converter we have is a hughs 4000 stall. I do not think it should flash past 4200. I believe the converter will only foot break in the 3000-3200 range, according to a few others that have run the same converter.

I am running 15X10's and I am pretty sure most W/S racers are on 10 inch wide wheels. Now that does not mean that you can not run the 8 inch wheels and do well. Give it a shot with the new gear and see what happens

I noticed in the rules that boost controlers and progressive systems are not allowed but it does not say timing computers can't be used. I don't think there is a way to use one on a stock LS1 computer but I would expect you competition with distributors to have them. With a Digital7 or other similar device they can custom taylor an advance curve to retard the timing of the line and still get big power to the end.
