Weight differance in tires?????

Question Weight differance in tires?????

I run the 26" MT sportsmans up front. any idea on what the fifferance is in weight between those and a MT ET front??
looking to possable shave a few more pounds befor the sept race in MD

We have the 26" MT Fronts on our car, we didn't have the Sportsmans but we had some metric radial tires up front. The Front Runners are noticeably lighter (mounted) than the metric Radials tires we had previously. I'd say about 5-10 lbs each.

sweet. i may hold off this season, but its a quick 10 pounds for next year.

M/T ET Front 26X4.5X15 = 12.0lbs

M/T Sportsman 26X6X15 = 19.7lbs

About a 15.5lb weight difference.
