Default No front sway bar?

Ok so are all the fast guys (sub 10 sec guys) running the front sway bar? As far as I understand you dont need it when the car is caged, subframe connected and has a good anti-roll bar? am I correct with that thinking?

From my experience, a front sway bar does nothing for a drag race ... even at 12 seconds. Pull it and forget it.

pull that ****! helps the front end come up during launches tremendously. you do not need it either, unless you really like to hit corners hard, in which case you may choose to keep it. my car handles fine without it- turn in actually seems sharper but with a tad bit more body roll, though it definetly launches better.

I've had mine off for 2 years now.. you notice it the first couple days.. after that, it becomes normal... I still take a highway entrance ramp where I live at 80 ( posted limit is 35 ) and still have no problems... just the back sliding out a little every now and then

Even at 13.6 seconds, it matters. Mine has been gone for at least a year, and it's daily driven.

It will help weight transfer in at any ET. Only difference on the street is your car will now corner like a 70's Cadillac. So no corner carving for you. -Mark

ok,call me a scaredy cat but i like to keep mine in.taking it out will help you just like everybody here has said.the only problem i have is when i run a soft wall tire,i get a fair amount of (roll)out of the rear end, kind of like a wobble at around 120 or so.just makes me feel a little better even though i know i got a snowballs chance in hell to pull her out at that speed if she got loose.

How long does it take to take it off and put it back in? I might just take it off for the race.

You can just disconnect the endlinks for the track, then hook them back up for the street. I got tired of that and ripped it all out. I only miss it once in a while.
