info on a roll cage
I am looking for some advice on a roll cage... This is my daily driver so i do not need anything execive, just enough to be resonably safe and meet track standards... If any of you have any advice on were I could find one at, and/or pics to share w/ me, I would greatly appreciate it.

unless the car is a convertible or you plan on running in the single digits (9.99 or faster) I'd stick with a roll bar (5-point minimum). I have one in my Nova, and with a swing-out door bar it makes for a lot easier entry/exit. Wolfe seems to be the brand of choice for pre-done F-body bars and cages, or you can always try to find a race car builder in your area to custom do one for you (the avenue I went).

The 5 point is nice. Exspecaily for passangers to get in and out of. Here are some pics of mine. Instead of the X brace like mine, i have seen them go through the factory speaks in the rear. With The X you can keep your stereo. It really depends on how fast you intend on going. My cage is NHRA certified to 8:50's and slower. The A/C still blows around the bars that go through the dash also. i painted it to match the interior.
