Default How fast can a bolt on only a4 be?

I am wondering if I do lots of traction stuff, gears, converter, all boltons, etc. how quick I could be and still be somewhat streetable. What has been done so far?

Your times are amazing! How well do the 4400/4.10's do on the street?

Magnus, you know what I mean. Many people have different perspectives on what makes a car a drag car and what makes a car a street car. I bet most people wont consider a 2800 lb. F-body a street car, that is why I referred to it as a drag car. Sure I can drive my car on the street, but I dont consider it a street car. Huge cam, gears, converter, tires, manual rack, no a/c, horn, wipers, etc. I'm sure your 2800 lb. machine doesn't have the stuff to be considered legal on the street. Anyhow, I evny your car and hope to be close to your times come this winter. I'm amazed by both you and 01-z's cars.

TexasWS6, again, everyone has their own opinion, but I didnt have a problem with the PT4400 and 4.10. One may have another opinion. By the way, those are old times, with hot/humid weather and the old setup. Gonna be a beast with the new setup.

Without weight reduction high 11's.

With modest weight reduction 11.5 or better.

My car is 100% daily driver and i'm at 11.2 @ 118 in +3000 DA. with some good weather it will be in the 10's. i have a TH350, 4.10 gears and an 8" 5300 stall.
The stall and gear were not bad at all on the street. i do ALOT of highway driving (90 miles a day) so i put 31" street tires on it to keep the rpm's reasonable on the highway. After i move closer to my job i'll put some 28" street tires on itr and lower it so it doesn't look so goofy. I just sent my converter back to get restalled to a 4600 to better fit the stock cam. was going for cam only but ran over budget.

VERY cool stuff! high 11's w/out weight reduction eh? The guy before me with my car told me i could hit 11's with stall & converter. I don't think that'll happen, but anyway, what would be the choice list of things to do to get deep in the 11's?
