What is the benefit of a 2 step on an A3 car?
Converting from an M6 to a TH350 with a brake. Is there any advantage to keeping the 2 step? What use would it provide?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Other than letting you leave at whatever rpm you want.
It will allow the converter to flash and not bang like if you had your foot to the floor on the transbrake only and the converter wound tight. Some cars like leaving on the converter some cars like to flash the converter, its whatever you car likes. I would run one.
For instance if your converter stahls at 4000 rpm and you have no 2 step you will leave at 4000 and the converter will have no flash. If you had a 2 step and say left at 3000 you will flash the converter and also should leave harder hope that explains it well enough.
