I even have a underdrive pully and the car cranks everytime. I have stock electronics in the car and always have my stereo on and my lights and stereo on when I drive home from work. I mounted mine just like GM Musc. did. I made adapters so my stock cables fit.

Don't get that one look at what it says in the product notes.
PRODUCT NOTES
For motorsports applications use the Odyssey battery. The Odyssey was designed for rugged vibration sensitive applications with thicker plates to prevent cracking and premature failure. The warranty on the Genesis doesn't cover motorsports installations.

I notioced that when I ordered mine also. I bought it because several guys were running them in their cars here in Houston without any problems. Mine is cammed , but I don`t run it at the track often at all. You have a nice car by the way. I think I saw you post that you were down to 2800 lbs or so. Thats bad ***.

Guys,

I have a couple 13lb batteries left for sale. They are the same size and specs as the dyna-batts and PC 680 but have flat post style terminals. I use one on my car with no problems and Slow3hoe2 from this board is using one in his DD Camaro. They crank fine and work good for DD's and have so far lasted a couple seasons.

These are brand new never used batteries that I'll let go for $65 shipped to you're door.

This is a pic of the one I have in my Mustang.

I killed my original light battery after three cars and two years and draining it waay to many times so I bought a PC 625 (a little heavier) locally and it's worked fine since.

I put one of the Odyssey 680's in the Z, it works fine but right now its about 35 degrees in the garage and this thing is barely turning the car over. I highly doubt its gonna work in the really cold (like in the teens) temperatures. If I put some kind of trickle charger on it will it help?
