Results from first time at track: Need Feedback Well on Friday I made my first trip to Great Lakes Dragaway and made 6 runs. Most were around 14.1-14.3 my best was:

MPH 102.57
By the way its a 99 TA A4, with borla catback, lid and filter. I thought it should have been better than that but it was my first time and i dont have performance tires so i know i would do better with better tires. But that considered how do you think i did, or what needs to improve?

Congrats on getting out for your first time, that's usually the hardest part for most people.
Your times are decent, maybe the weather was a bit hot and humid. That would account for some lost ET. My bone stock 01 went 13.4 in hot weather. Altitude of the track also has an effect.
Get a set of Mickey Thompson ET Streets 26x10.5x15 mount them on spare rims and you'll get great traction and lower those 60's. You should be able to get the 60's to 1.9's or maybe high 1.8.
Get a 3500-4000 stall and you will run mid 12's.
