Dave it's looking good! I know that it has been a long time coming too. Good luck to you on the new record, I hope you get it.

P.S. Just wondering if you still had that Hot Wheels car that Jc gave to you just before we left?

Blang Blang.

That 9.17 was with LS6 heads, not C5R. Your car should run well into the 8's N/A.

Well, in theory it should kill that nunber based on some of the things done differently.
BUTT, and that's a big but , getting it down to the ground will be the biggest key to this car running the number.
Not to mention it's all theory until it dynos and runs down the track.
Until then, the SAM car is the ****, plus they have a new setup going together.

Thanks for the words guys, my headers are finally being done up next Friday and Saturday and I should be able to fire within a few days after.
I'm getting pretty excited now.

John, I pm'd you back.

they have a NEW motor going together!?!?!? those guys just don't quit!!! but yea....... that was 9.17 w/ a manual trans still. so if you get a more powerful car with a more drag race oriented trans set up....... you should do better. (in theory) ....... i couldn't even imagine an ls1 going 8's all motor. god that would be insane!

If I had kids, my projects would be done sooner like yours.

The move to the front area was prompted by Steve, who does all our wiring, he can't stand any climate above 80 degrees.
Good thing he lives here.
