anyone running an air shifter?
anyone running an air shifter? i've got a th400, rmvb, brake, cheetah SCS shifter and i've thought about getting an air shifter for consistancy in the shifts. is anyone running one in their car, how exactly do they work off the ignition system, and what are your opinions on the part. thanks in advance.
well, i have a th400 right now from TransKing that i'm going to use when the car is running for racing right off the bat to get some ets etc with and drag some people's asses. then my plan is to put a t56 in the car.

Kyle is using a electric shifted shifter. It works off a RPM module. You just set the RPM and the shifter shifts for you. All you do is pull it down into manuel low gear and floor the car. It does it all for you. This might get scary if you get into some tire spin, because it will shift and make the tires spin even more, but I don't know. Kyle says his has a 2 sec delay on the shifter so it can't shift for atleast 2 seconds after the TB is let off.....this way if he does get into some major tire speed right out of the gate he can let off and it won't shift.
so so it does have a delay...that is one thing i was wondering about. i like the consistancy that the air shifter has to offer for sure. if you have an air shifter any sort of street use of the car is basically out of question i would assume.
