I have an Odyssey PC680 lightweight battery and I was wondering how I can keep it at full charge because I only drive my car every other weekend. I got a trickle charger, but when I started flipping through the owners manual it said not to trickle charge a dry cell battery because it may expolde

Is the best thing to do is put it on the charger a couple of hours before I take the car out and just keep an eye on the charge?

i would just charge it up for an hour or two just to start it and then pull it off the charger, but unfortunately i don't have a definitive answer for you.
