Yeah that won't work. you'll just get oil all over your MAF.

What are you trying to acomplish? just to not get any oil in your intake? Vent your crankcase? or suck all the fumes out of your crankcase?

To do that either get an evac pump(race car) or like you said above tap into the collectors on your header. This usually works best with open headers. You don't want ANY backpressure or else your exhaust will actually go into your valvecovers and blow out your front and rear main seals. both of these will pull out the fumes the best but will also pull out lots of oil with them. so keep a close eye on your oil level and keep filling it as necessary.
thats why most people don't run these set ups on daily drivers or street cars.

I drive my car ALOT and at high RPM's so i went with the breathers. hell even with just the breathers i lose ALOT of oil. But my front and rear main seals are spotless and so is the inside of my intake.

cool sounds like i should go with breathers cause my car is a daily driver. So the breathers do both vent and extract fumes from the crank case.

They vent just fine, better than the stock PCV in fact. but they don't "pull" the fumes out like a pump or a collector set up. but thats really a "race" motor w/ low tension rings type of thing.

I needed it on my last motor cause the rings were bad and it blew out the front and rear seals in a week. I had a catchcan set up that with a "good rings" motor was ok but when i swapped in another motor it wasn't anywhere near enuff and that motor blew out the seals. the bottom of my car was completely covered with oil.
