Default Need an in car camera mount for your rollbar? Got $2.00

I put a 6 point roll bar in my car this week and thought it would be cool to have a mount for my video camera on the bar, mainly for street races. But the cheapest one I found was like $40, and looked kinda crappy. I knew I could make something that wokes, so I bought a 1 3/4" exhaust clamp and drilled a hole in it for a 7/16" bolt. I wrapped a section of my bar in electrical tape to prevent scratches and clamped the unit on. I threaded a nut down on the bolt on top of the one I installed to make it tight on the clamp and threaded my camera onto the bolt, then tightened the nut against the camera. There ya go, an adjustable angle camera mount for $1.19+ tax and 1 bolt with 2 nuts. I'm gonna paint it black and make a velcro strap for the camera for safety and to stabilize it.

I can't wait till the next time I embarrass someone on the street, I'll have the camera pointed out the back window to catch the action as I make them slowly disappear.
