Default such thing as too much LCA angle?

just wondering. i have seen the "3 hole" LCA relocation brackets made by V6bird. is this too much? can you have too much LCA angle? with everyone always concerned with pinion angle and getting that instant center farther forward, how about LCAs?

i have the Spohn regular LCA relocation brackets as well as a set of lowering springs.

TIA.

There was a good thread about setting up a car a while back here in the drag racing section. I think MADMAN said to set them at 3 degrees down or something. I may be complety wrong though. Eithe way there is a good thread with alot of info about this in here.

well i am running a set of "BMR springs" from 1999 but i believe they were nothing more than eibachs or Jamex springs. they were supposed to be 1.5" lower. the rear never seemed to lower too much esp with the moser rearend back there. i have Spohn relocation brackets now in the lowest setting and they do have some "uphill" angle to them (from rear to front).

to much of an angle will shock the tires to hard, making them bounce and then spin

i was going to say bmr's and wondered how they acted in drag racing as i wanted to lower the rear a bit 1" and have a stiffer sping also due to the added weight i have back there(speaker box, amp, batt, spare and jack etc) I hit the bump stops quite offen and with people back there forget about it, bottom out city.

was thinking that too but figure with all the extra weight in the back it might be pointless.
