Solid motor mounts Part 2
The first pic is of the steel ones i made a while bacl and the second is of the aluminum ones i made last night. i didn't that the aluminum ones looked a little weaker (especialy it being aluminum) so i took one of the sets and welded asome reinforcement plates on the side. after i did that i then didn't like how bulky they looked so i left one set just like they were. i figure i'll put the weaker (lighter
) set in my car and the other in his. So if mine break i can just weld them back up. Wouldn't wanna put something faulty in someone elses car. I'll get a pic of the "reinforced" mounts here in a little bit.
I was thinking of making some out of aluminum, or lighter gauge steel. The stockers weigh a ton!
i made these cause no one makes colid motor mountsd for the k members that have the bottom section of the mount built into it.
