Default Any negative drawbacks to running a motorplate??

Just out of curiousity.. is anybody running them in their street cars and if not why?

shakes the car more and harder to work around. myself and a few locals have just strapped ours down

It had too much vibe for a street car, IMO. I pulled mine out and went with poly/solid combo. The benefits are:

Much more header clearance.
Easier to mount vacuum pump.extra accessories.
