Default What style suspension?

ok, ive known this guy for awhile, his name is bo..oddly enough.. hes got a 9 sec 85 fbody and swears the suspension he has is better than a chassis mount t/a. well from wht he said its some weird hybrid 4 link or something, i think its a morrison bar setup or something like that. it eliminates the t/a. now heres the thing the t/a setups have gotten waaay down there in the single digits. is it the geometry of the car, the drivetrain setup or is the t/a less setup just plain better? his setup is a 383 with 11-12ish:1 compression, super vic i believe and a dual stage setup with a 150 plate for out of the hole and a 250 fogger after that. what do you all think? hopefully madman and other avid/savvy chassis guys will chime in.

he probably has the old Southside style set up. It worked but there was no adjustability for different tracks.

I dont believe the Torque Arm style set up has been fully exploited. Amazingly alot of the new Mustang chassis that are being built have torque arms on them.

what are the weaknesses of it? i mean obviously extreme torque can snap on like a twig. would it being mounted higher or lower on the chassis have any effect on it?
