Default Door Panels

I am currently running NO interior, other than the A-pillar and dash, I am not really a fan of this look so I want to do something with the door panels. Stockers are too heavy, 10#s each.

I know Wolfe makes some but I know there is another way that might have been done. not to mention, that is alot of coin for some metal...

What have others done? Pix?

I am thinking of trying to get some of the 'board' stuff they use in hot rods for the door panels and wrap them in some material. I know this will leave the area next to the window exposed but that might be OK or some how I could think of some way to cover that as well.

For the window/lock controls, I was thinking of relocating to center area of car to remove all the wiring from the passenger side door and the controls for everything I need is located in that one control....but could see just mounting it on the driver side door and not worry about moving it.....just brainstorming.

This won't be much help but, I know that the Wolfe's are alot but I heard that they fit and look real nice. They usually have a 25% off Christmas sale, I've been holding out for that myself.

OH yeah, they do normally have a good sale at the end of the year....
25% off would be nice and then I could pit 'em and paint 'em....
