Default Hawker/ Odyssey 680 users, question---

How long can you let your car sit and still have enough charge to start it? My 680 is done within 2 weeks of sitting in the garage. I want to put some sort of battery tender on it, but haven't found one yet.

Mine has sat for over a month before without a problem. I have a tender that I bought with it but never used it. I give you a pretty good deal on it if you want, I have no use for since I bought a real good charger.

This is the what it is. http://gotbatteries.com/items.asp?pa...A/all/35S210S1 .

How much do you want? I'm gonna buy one either way, but if I can buy from a fellow racer vs. a store I will. I'm in Il, 61821, for shipping purposes, and I can paypal you asap.

Thanks!

Ok, you should get an automated email from Fed-ex tonight with a tracking number. I did not find the instructions for the charger, I only have the ones that came with the PC680. I'll look in a few other spots though.

Damn quick deal. NEway, mine sat for 3 weeks no issues. However, I sat in the parking lot, putting windows down, up, locking/unlocking/ popping trunk all the while listening to the stereo for a few hours and it needed a little jumper cable boost

Yeah.....I always leave a set of jumper cables in the car just in case. Had to get a jump from a Mustang one time with the Hawker bat in.

I'm going to get the PC680 battery but whenever my car sits for a long period of time (i.e. more than a few days) I disconnect the battery. Odyssey says it has a 2 yr shelf life at 75* disconnected. -Mark

They don't do well connected to the car , a slight load will drain them. If mine is
going to sit at all I pull a cable.
