weight savings

Full aftermarket if possible light weight suspension, light weight weheels drag tires, no AC no emissions, no back seat, no insulation, light weight carpet, no spare and jack, no heat shields, aftermarket exhaust or no exhaust, lt headers. If that wont work, pulling the stereo and pumpers could do it

Here is what I did to get down to 3160 to give you an idea. It's a lot easier than most people think.
! Back seats
! all emissions crap
! stock catback (replaced with TD setup)
! a/c (kept heater though)
! spare and jack
! driver airbag and module (too lazy to pull passengers)
! all heat shields (except those covering clutch or fuel lines)
! rear most speakers
! front bumper support
! washer fluid and resevoir
Money mods are as follows
Grant steering wheel
Hawker pc680 battery
CM lca's
That's all I can really think of as Im sure I forgot some stuff. I still have a **** ton of stuff I'm getting rid of this winter for next season. I DD my car and it sees around 8k miles a year.
