Launching a4 with drag radials
Haha, great thread considering I have A4/2.73's with a stock converter, and 315's out back to boot. Yes do a hella burnout, stall it as much as possible b/c you will bog down as i did w/ the 315/2.73 gear combo that sucks i might add, and I just have a lid/headers & TD's...ran a 13.90 @ 104 so dont think your car is a turd just yet, b/c I got a crappy time as well, just not too bad of a MPH. I leave it in D by the way.

I had that same problem with Nitto's and 2.73's, put it in 1st and do the burnout in the water, be sure to roll out of the water box while still burning out or you will just put water down for yourself, get a dyno tune and get rid of those damn gears, check out the sig, i picked up 2.5 tenths from my gear change
do this
first drive around the water then back up and get the tires wet. then tap the gas to spin the tire around. pull up about 15-20 feet. hold brake and mat the go pedal , hold it there for 5 seconds at 5000 rpm then take your foot of the brake and let the car pull itself out of the burnout and roll up to the line. do not do a dry hop. Make sure you line up in the groove. you'll see the stickier part of the track, its usually darker.
bring it up to about 1500 and on 3rd amber GO.
get a stall my man.
