My old 1994 Firebird that we used to race wheelstood constantly. This was before the days of aftermarket k-members. All I ever destroyed was the k-member.

I made some pads from 5 inch round nylon that are bolted to the k-frame. Haven't tried them out yet though. I got the idea from outrigger's that we use at work during vehicle dynamics testing.
