If my memory serves me correct, Line X weighs about 1lbs per square foot. That's sprayed at bedliner thickness which I think is supposed to be 1/8". What's cool about it though is you can spray it as smooth or as ruff as you want and it's a half decent sound deadner.

I pulled up my carpet again to do my minitubs and a couple of other things and I'm not really in the mood to lay it back down. Additionally, the carpet starts to ball up from my heel rubbing it. I figure I can just spray it with bedliner and not have to worry about carpet again.

a local guy went and bought the spray kind from "AutoZone" and he likes it. I have not seen it and him taking a pic of it and being able to post it is something that will never get done.
I got to think it is heavy (depending on how thick you spray it). I am going with the 'fleece' carpet later in 06, got some cutting of metal to do first!!

Nothing on top of it.. the people I knwo that did it just left it that way. It looks alot like the rubber mat that would be on teh floor of a pickup if you got one that's really stripped with no carpet... if they even sell pickup's like that anymore.
I highly doubt that it weigh's much, I think the can the guy I personally know used weigh'ed about 25 lbs, and there was a ton left over, and he did the entire floor and whatnot of a 1966 GTO, and did it double thick where the feet of the driver and front passenger go... the rest was a single layer, and it's been that way for a couple years now, and is holding up great.
That car's gotta have about twice the floor area to do as a 4th gen f body, so I'm gusssing you'd use alot less. There was enough left over for him to do the bed on his ranger pickup twice... if that's any indicator of how much it took.
