I agree this is an expensive hobby which is very addicting as well. That hood on the silver procharged Camaro is definitely pimp. Have you checked out VFN's site lately >>>. They make a wider version Sunoco hood which extends to the windshield as well. It may resemble Joe's hood a bit and be cheaper too.

Joe makes about 10 versions of his hood and they range in price from around $400.00 to upwards of $1500.00 depending on what the hood is made out of.

Contact Stenod at the shop. We have been ordering a lot of stuff from Joe for the last several weeks and get some pretty good deals. Not to mention that we've been running out to pick up stuff from Joe on a pretty regular basis the last couple weeks. That's by far going to be one of the easier ways to get ahold of Joe Van O. At the very least, Stenod can get you Joe Van O's number. I don't have it with me at the moment.
Here's a few samples of stuff that Joe Van O has done for us lately.

That spoiler will require work on any TA. It is intended for cars that run a smoothed hatch since this type doesn't mount to the existing formula or TA spoiler like the Camaro version does. I just want to make sure that you know about that up front. With a stock Firebird hatch, you will have to have a body shop smooth out the hatch once you remove the wing because it's full of holes and pass throughs for the electrical harness.

I didn't look at it close enough to relize it was a T/A.
Either way I just want that style of wing, I like how it follows the curve of the body down the sides. It'll be going on a Camaro w/ a stock hatch, for now.
What does Stenod have for chute mounts?

Stenod should have a Camaro wing on hand this week from Tom Kempf's car. That will fit on a Camaro just fine. You would need the wing support kit as well as a chute mount. Depending on your welding aptitude Stenod could get you a simple DIY Stroud style chute kit for the bag and a bolt in setup for the chute tabs. Or he can fabricate a bolt in setup for you pretty easily complete with the bag support. That's something you can certainly talk to him about pretty easily. If you are going to run this style of wing you do have to do a little more to the chute location so that you can launch it out from underneath it. Are you going to use an air launcher or just the spring loaded drone?
