My car always responds best when you footbrake it to about 3,200rpm. What are you running for tires and gears, any idea what the STR is on the converter?

depends on so many factors, including what kind of converter. i have been in yanks that look to be stalled up high. i have been in some vig con verters that loved to be flashed from idle! also, the bigger numeric gear, the less you will be able to load (stall) up the converter anyways.

Just test it out...It really depends on your suspension and car and everything...It took me a lot of tries to get my car to launch how I want it to...There really is no answer to this question IMO.

Not familiar with the Fuddle convertor i do know the Vigilante's do better flashed. The
Yank's like to be braked up. Check with fuddle or try the A4 forum.

i brake torque up to 2200-2700 (depends on what mood im in) then flash it. every setup is different, but you'll probably get a more VIOLENT launch by flashing it from idle- just stomping on the gas pedal as fast/hard as you can. im on the stock rear so i pre-load it to the above rpms then flash from there.

3800 2.5str/ 2:73 gear.

probably depends on your setup also (cam, gear, track prep**)

Well my Yank always liked to be flashed ...so I would try flashing it a couple times then footbraking it at different RPMs and see which does better for your car....also depends on track prep.

my fuddle likes being flashed from ~2,800 or so. granted i only had 2 runs that it hooked...it did better with a flash.
