I had the PC-680 for about a year. It struggled to keep up wtith a full optioned car (slow cranking, would go dead quick with any power left on). They warranteed it and I upgraded to the PC925. It's a little heavier and slightly bigger but it's been doing a great job (cranking normal) so far.

Guys that have run either of these batt's.. was the batt o.k. as long as you kept the elec. stuf off in the car when it was sitting, or was a charging it somethign you had to do on a constant basis? I wanna do the LW battery mod, but don't want any headaches like having the thing die on my in the staging lanes, at car shows, that kind of thing. I don't ever leave lights on, radio on , anything like that.. just wondering.
Also, if you have pic's or a list of stuff you used to hook it up ( terminals, etc.etc.) that would be helpful as well. How the battery was mounted/attached would also help. Anyone mount the battery to the stock battery tray via a metal strap, or something like that, or is everyone removing the batery tray and attaching it strait to the inner fender?

My car is all stripped out now but i was using this same batt back when i was full weight. AND i had a nice sized amp and 2 12's in the hatch. its great as long as you don't use it while the car is off (like jamin out to the stereo or turning on the headlights for a few min).
It did struggle a few times to start in the winter but it never left me stranded.
I used the same mounting hole as the stock battery and a piece of aluminum i bent for a hold down. As for the hooking it up part. I used the supplied allen head bolts thjey give you and just took the battery terminals apart. no special parts to buy.

Could that be mounted on the factory battery tray like that? I'm most likly gonan pick one up, either that model or the next size up. In the Summit catalog they have them, I know I wouldn't get the battery itself from there as it can be bought cheaper elsewhere, but they have a mount for teh next size up, a bent piece of alum that looks decent, and light be easily screwed down in place of the factory battery.. even the next size up looks like it would save about 20 lbs or so.

It can be mounted really any way you want it to be.
I have had one mounted with stock battery tray or without, side or bottom. what ever way you like. The metal (aluminum)strap is easy to bend/make.

I have the PC680 as well, and mounted like SUX... did. 1-1.5" wide flat alum. bar from Home Depot, easy to bend, drill and polish is you like. The has sat for two weeks w/o starting and havent had any issues doing so, nor does it when I drive it daily. I wouldnt leave the lights on or anything, but I wouldnt do that with a stock battery either...just no sense in doing it I guess.
