Here's a few shots of the work in progress -
The new exhaust consist of Kook's 1 7/8 - 2" stepped headers and 3.5" Kook's ultra light stainless mufflers.

The new intake and nitrous setup is progressing along as well.
This is just a progress shot so things are still in a bit of disarray.

The cowl could be notched for clearance or just painted that "go away" color
The new VFN hood that will extend all the way to windsheild

I changed the exhaust pic size as it is a nice piece and didn't show as well in the smaller pic.
Here's a couple to give you a perspective on the mufflers -

The bars on the k-member are a set of Madman's SYA bars. AKA - Save your *** bars. If you spend time on the bumper they are a great item to save your oil pan, headers, etc.
The drivers side floor pan was clearanced previously by gently massaging it
I had a similar setup before, just was running different size headers and bullets.
No reason to add a bunch more exhaust tubing just to have an x pipe. Racing, less is more.
Clearance - not much different than my old setup
The fun part with the exhaust side exiting is cranking the car with someone standing next to it.
Thanks Derek. Trying my best.
