Why would you pull the rear swaybar?? Are you replacing it with another one? I sure hope so...

I've been getting mixed opinions, what is your reasoning? Is it dangerous?

Wait till you drive the car and turn a corner. You WILL put that rear sway bar back on.

I looked for a windshield in a junk yard but the price was too close to the one that I got from a glass place. I can get the windsheild and have it installed for $200. So I figured why bother doing it myself.

Put the rear sway bar back on the car, if you try and corner with any speed at all it will be nasty.

Man dieting doesnt look any fun. IMO unless you are in 10s or less, having a stripper is pointless.

turn the wiper arms up(like you were cleaning the windshield) and just yank back and forth a couple times and they are off...I did this today...The arms would not move laying on the windshield tho.

So true. That pile has already grown too.

I like how some of the people on my local racing forum clown these weight reductions. I think they will understand when my car is still some-what apealing on the inside, and running 11s on a stock internal 50k origional motor, cam tune and all!

There is sooooooo much **** in the car that you really don't need. The only thing I miss is a cup holder. Makes for a fun ride home from jack in the box in my m6

How is SI if there is a cam, dont understand, also why did you take the wipers off isn't it a daily driver, also why the glove box and the piece under the steering wheel, can't you see a bunch of wires now for only about 5lbs saving, unless you are going for a complete stripper...i thought you wanted to keep the stock appearance inside.

I said stock engine, cam tune and all......as in stock cam and stock tune. The car is a daily driver, and it BARELY EVER sees rain, I hitch rides on rainy days. And also, I wax the winshield so the water beads right off.

As for the panels/glove box, I'm ordering some light-weight platic sheeting to fab a few covers.

Chris: pull the panel that has your trunk relese button on it , you'd be surprised how heavy that little plastic panel is.

I laugh at people who disagree with pulling **** out that only weighs a few pounds, because when they look at my pile of 30 things that weigh three pounds each, they might begin to understand why my car is faster than theirs.

I am at 3460 race weight (1/4 tank, no pass. seat, I'm 200lbs) ......I'm waiting on my bullet muffler from summit so I can remove my cat-back. Then a lightweight battery. I'll keep ya posted.

I would really put that rear one on, the front isn't all that bad, the only reason I took mine off is to put the wolf racecraft on in. No rear sway bar + Sticky tires+ High Speeds = Scary 1/4 Mile experience.
