Drag Race Sway Bars?
Thanks.
I've only had THAT bar besides stock, so not alot to base off of. But I love it for how even the car feels coming out the hole. When i was doing 6000rpm dumps in the 6speed, car came up even every time.

The Wolfe seems like a nice piece. A little more expensive than $300, but seems well built.

I run the Spohn drag bar, it's a boltin, uses bushings on the rearend. The bar still has some give on inclines.

I'm looking b/w Wolfe and Billingsley, not sure.
needless to say it doesn't work as good as it used to with only one end attached...

when it was connected though it worked wonders.... does make a TON Of noise though.... at first i thought i snapped a u-joint or i had rocks in my rearend... (that didn't sound right did it???)
I have had both b/c I had a 4.10 12b in the car with that Spohn bar on it and I wanted to try some 4.33/spool so we pulled from a buddy's car that had the BMR unit on it.
The car is straight as an arrow now!
Outlaw, that's crazy. Are you saying any kind of speed bump or anything is a no no for going over with this bar? Any other street obstacles you'd recommend avoiding with this bar? For what it's worth I decided to run the billingsly piece. Thanks.

I went with the Wolfe because (1) my car is no longer a street car (I have 2 other Camaros to play with also), and (2) my stock swaybar was twisted around the axle (the mounts I used rotated on the axle tubes), probably due to launches like that.
I also had some slight underbody damage where the Madman torque arm mount hit the sheet metal on the floor (I still wonder how it did that and didn't snap U-joints).I was told straight up that the Wolfe wasn't really a street bar. I have no plans to use it as such.
I thought about removing the bar and getting the BMR setup cause i like the way it's setup on the rearend but now since this bar is welded onto the axle tubes it's gonna be quite labor intensive to remove it. i'm thinking about fabbing up new arms (having my local raceshop do it) and then welding them onto the bar. while i'm at it i'm going to box the arms as well for strength...
i think mines also poked thru the floor. just the torque arm saying hi

My car launches straight and flat with it.
It's a great bar for a street/strip car. You get the benifit of a stiffer bar without the added extra noise of a solid mounted race bar.
It's basically a big stock replacement, comes with everything need to replace the stocker.
