Question about Classes Are their classes based in displacement vs vehicle weight?
That is, with 427+cid small blocks and LS1s it is too easy to make so much power with displacement that the car will go faster than the driver. At least if I am the driver.
On top of that, a small displacement had lower requirements on the drivetrain and maybe less safety equipment.

Ram Racing series here in the Mid Atlantic (MD, DE, PA, NJ, VA) area is a weigh vs displacement series. It is a NA series too.
