well I was just wondering what you all thought was the reasons for my high 60' times. The car is hooking and has a full tubular front suspension but is completely stock in the rear except for tockico POS shocks. The rear has 3.23 gear and im running a 26" slick and 4000 stall converter Im going 10.2 @ 135 with a 1.6x 60'. Im thinking its the gearing/rear suspension but does it sound like it would slow it down that much out the whole? This is spraying off the line also with no tire spin. The raceweight is under 3336 (last time weighed and some stuff has been removed) This is also off a foot brake around 2000 RPM does it sound about right? And would Could I expect with a full drag rear suspension and a big gear and 28" tire off the trans brake around 3800 rpm? Thanks for any help you can give me

You have a great front suspension setup, you're set there.
Get some drag shocks on the car... like QA1 HALs.
Add some adjustable LCAs, Panhard bar, and Torque Arm too.
Also with that much power, run a 4.10 gear and a 28" tire.
The combination of all of the above will help ALOT.

Sparying out the hole will componsate for any lack of gear. Your torque is not the problem. Judging by your front setup I assume the nose lifts and stays up. Which would leave me to believe that your stock rear suspension is squating the same time your nose is lifting. 1.6 shortime I don't think you are dead hooking. I your rear suspension unloads on the tires and you spin. At your power level and weight you should be in the 1.4's. What is your tire pressure at? But Octane has a good point. 28's have more side wall and the other possibility is that 26's won't wrinkle as much with would also cause you to spin. -Mark
