Afco question billingsly's site said that modification was required to the top mount to run them. I was just wondering what had to be modified so that when i go to install them. I'm just trying to check with anyone who has them now so that everything goes smoothly since my time to work on the car is very limited. Any pics with them installed?
I'm quite sure they are refering to the fronts. The upper mount needs to have the hole enlarged, and a hole drilled through the shock tower so you can get at the upper adjustment.
No welding required, they "bolt in" like any other shock.
If you've never had the upper a-arm/shock mount out of the car, you'll probably have no idea what i'm refering to
