26 based on trap speed. 28 would put you too low in the RPM band.

I opted for in between... 27/11.5/15 Hoosier QTPs. Can easily do a 1.5 60ft all day long on a M6.

I'm running a 26". They seem to work well. I think as far as looks go, the 28" would look better. It would fill out the wheel well better. But for N/A you would have to have a steep rear gear.

26's. When it comes to picking tires and axle sizes you want the smallest one that will get the job done. anything more is overkill and will slow you down.
You may 60" the same with 26's and 28's but you still gotta turn those big 28's the rest of the way down the track.
I'm running 26x10x15 ET Drags and consistently 60" 1.48-1.50

i run a 26x11.5x15 et street and 60 ft around 1.54 w/ no problems. Ive seen cars w/ 28" tires rub the bottom of the bumper at speed.

Exactly like Steve said, because you will trap way too low on a 28" tire. I had a TCI ssf4000 converter, 4.10 gear, TSP 231/237 cam, drag shocks set at 50/50, on a 28x10.5x15 ET Drag and I trapped at 6200 with my shift points set at 6900.

I would agree with the 26's for your setup.

That's cute, you're using my avatar.

Time for a new one then, I guess.

I was really leaning towards MT DRs but i couldnt find any used ones to get me by for a couple of weeks. So I Decided to try out ET streets. If i could of I would have gone witha full race slick but I have to drive like 20 miles out to the track and back and all the driving is 50 to 75 MPH. So the ET streets sounded good, washwall like a slick hook like a slick, then inflate em and get home safley.
