For a stick car go Slick
28 x 10.5 x 15S
S = Stiff side wall, best for cars weighing more than 3,000 lbs and for stick cars.
Just call M/T and they will recommend the best tire for your needs.

I love 28 x 10.5 x 15S

I think thats what I want to order but I will not be able to race on the street legal nights with those tires.

But, at the other track I go to, they don't care about full slicks. So **** it! I think I'm going with the 28x10.5x15S ET Drags.

Plus, it would be nice to cruise around the streets with the drag tires on there for a few weeks here and there.
I'm sick of switching them every week or so to race.
I like the Hoosier QTPs personally. The 28x11.5 QTP is basicly a 28x10 slick. I ran those for a while on a Grand National that I had. I just ordered a pair for my new Bogarts that are on the way as well. If you deciede that you want ET street, the 28x9 slick is the same size as a 28x11.5 ET street, the 28x10.5 is the same size as a 28x12.5 ET street.

Ditto!

Since you already have the wheels drilled for screws, these tires are awesome at the track.

You can do what I did and have a set of slicks for the track, then I bought another set of draglites and and put the MT DR's 325-50-15's on for regular street driving.

BTW, all three tires you listed will need the bump stop removed and some BFH massaging .

I have a set of the 28 x 10.5 x 15S Drags, if you want to buy them. They work great, pm me. There is plenty of rubber left on them.

I went with the ET Drag radial, and it's a GREAT tire.. Way more stable, and hook up better than my ET Street.

Fellaz, I've done had these on here for awhile. They took alot of work to get them to fit. My QA1 springs are not as tall as a stocker. I trimmed the bumper back on the lowwer corners. Removed the BS. Hammered everywhere.
But they look awsome and hook like ****.

Now I want another set of draglites and some MT DRs. BUt I've drove this around here on the streets with no problem. But that will not last long and I know the DRs will handle better.

I'd go with the DR's then. I like my 325 MT tires for the street, still need to try them at the track. You have the same wheel tire combo I run and I don't use the center cap in back either .

I'm running the 325 DR on the street right now. I need to get a 28x10.5S for the track.. I wish they made a 27X10.5S though.

I have always read that the ET street hooks up better than the et street radial with a 6speed... i am interested in trying it out.

Is there a slick that will fit on a 10'' wheel and not cause me to have to remove the bump stop? What negative side effects could there be to removing the bump stops? I drive the car on the street a lot more than at the track. I will probably make 30 passes with the car all year.

you will get NO vote for any m/t tires from me. i tried them and had no luck with et streets and the drags were better, but not alot in my case. the m/t is a verry popular tire, but that dont mean it's the best. the m&h racemaster on my car,(m6 463hp 414 tq stang dyno on motor and 1.42 60 foots) hooked the best for me (they hook so good i started to break parts again). m&h racemaster cheeter slick 26x11.5x15 is the one i run www.intercotire.com
