i like that idea of the tape (or fiberglass actually) on the bumper, you could do it and keep the body lines etc very easily and it would look great. i know wolfe sells a mustang front bumper replacement that is filled in like that that keeps air out of the engine bay....you could probably call them and talk to David to find out what kinds of gains to expect etc.

you should tape up the cracks along the hood and headlights too. Every little bit helps

im testing this like every other product that has come to market, i plan on getting another front bumper and filling it in w/ firberglass where the tape is. I know its not neat and perfect, but like i said im testing the areo of the nose.

thanks

Did you think about the removing the headlight motors/lights? I know they make some kit that does that and it kinda looks european. Theres probably another 10-15lbs of the front.

yeah i want to do the non pop up head light kit but its $1k which is too much for that rite now.

at the track you dont need turn signals and on the road, im just watching and being cautious.

im gonna start looking for another bumper, as stated earlier, and hopefully do either flush mount DRLs or non at all, and keep it a strickly track bumper only. not sure yet
